Setup & support
- Open Safari Settings → Extensions and enable Tile Scout.
- Allow Tile Scout to access www.strava.com and www.statshunters.com.
- Open the Tile Scout toolbar popup. Copy your personal API code from StatsHunters Settings, paste it into the popup and connect.
- Use Strava’s web route planner. The grid icon on the map switches overlays on or off. The badge counts new tiles on the current route.
Requires Safari 18 or later, a StatsHunters account with tile data and access to Strava’s route planner. Creating routes requires a Strava subscription, provided separately by Strava. Tile Scout does not supply these accounts.
If tiles do not appear
Check the two website permissions, confirm the popup says “StatsHunters connected”, and turn on Map overlay. Use the reload icon beside Disconnect to refresh your tile data. If needed, save your route before reloading Strava.
